Healer I don't remember the build but it dies often when mobbed, but usually towards the last of group to die. I am always complimented on it and tried it right before I was telling myself I would quit. I didn't after the monk in AB lol.. So a good build with updated skills etc etc... Haven't played in about 6 months... So a build would be nice...

SMiter, don't know much about them but hows this?

Smiter Monk:
1. Smiters boon
2. Judges Insight
3. Retribution
4. Smite Hex
5. Castigation Signet
6. Scourge Enchantment
7. Essence Bond
8. Resurect

1,7,8 and considering raw damage for PVE i would take some things into account...

Smiters boon got the balls nerfed off. This build is very poor. I don't even know where to start at.

Well at first i figured it was for PVP then i heard about the nerf... So i didn't rebuild for PvE.. wanted someone else too lol

Smiters' Boon isn't nerfed for PvE.

Your Smiter bar is quite bad for the following reasons:

- Retribution is a very weak skill.

- Castigation Signet should be more than enough energy management.

- You have no Reversal of Damage, canceling out a decent damage mitigation and "payback" skill further increased in power with Smiters' Boon.

- No elite. You're not limited to Smiting only or only one profession. There are lots of skills that could be used as an elite, for example Empathic Removal, Blessed Light and the list goes on.

- There is no point in that res when Monks can use Res Chant anyway. Ressurrect is a bad skill.

- You've got no Smite Condition. Smite Condition, Smite Hex and Reversal of Damage are staples on a Smiter bar.

For an AB bar?

[word of healing][patient spirit][guardian][shield of absorption][draw conditions][mending touch][no skill][holy veil]

The last skill could range from Discciplined Stance, to Return. Or you could use Bull's Strike or Distracting Shot (swapping high set for a recurve) for shits and giggles.

Signet of Judgement (e)
Signet of Rage
Castigation Signet
Reversal of Damage
Smite Hex
Smite Condition
Spear of Light
Mantra of Inscriptions

Signet of Distraction at 6 Domination could be a nice replacement for Spear of Light. With Mantra of Inscriptions at 11 Inspiration it should recharge in about 12 seconds, which makes it not a bad little interrupt, a slightly less effective D-Shot but still worth a slot I think.

Yes, it's a nice one to have, but seeing I go smite only when facing Undead - SoL promises an insane amount of damage. And rarely fails to deliver.

For AB i run this:
Mo\A
12+1+1 Healing
10+1 Prot
8+1 DF
i think that leaves you 2-3 points in shadow arts.
[guardian][patient spirit][word of healing][dismiss condition][protective spirit][holy veil][return][dark escape]
Considering the amount of bad wammos, sins etc in AB that will chase you to the other end of the map and will absolutely NEVER switch targets just because youre a monk, a skill like dark escape is nice to have along with return.

Regarding PvE smiters, here is my approach:

Divine Favor: 12+1+1
Smiting: 12+1

Divine Boon
Empathic Removal
Smite Condition
Smite Hex
Reversal of Damage
Castigation Signet

With two free slots for whatever extra heavy damage/resurrect I feel like I need in the vanquish.

For AB, I approach it slightly different than Chuck:

Healing: 12+1+1
Protection: 8+1
Divine Favor: 10+1

Word Of Healing
Patient Spirit
Protective Spirit
Dismiss Condition
Guardian
Holy Veil
Return
Signet of Rejuvenation

It's more or less the same build with slight differences. Guardian meets its requirements for 5 seconds at 9 prot, and though I won't be healing as much with the Dismiss Condition, I'm packing a "just incase" signet, and still able to keep up with the rest of the party/cripple the enemy melee.

PvE skills can't be used in AB as that is what this is for or RA.
